Job summary

Standex International Corporation in Wisconsin is seeking a Maintenance Technician to perform preventative and reactive maintenance on CNC tooling, ovens, cranes, and related equipment to keep production running safely and efficiently.

Reporting to the Manufacturing Manager, you will read diagrams, assist contractors, follow lockout/tagout, and support ongoing safety, quality, delivery, and cost improvements while training on first shift.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• At least 3 years of proven maintenance technician experience.
• Ability to read wiring diagrams, schematics, and flow diagrams.
• Forklift experience preferred.
• Reliable transportation.
• Strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage time, multi-task, and pay close attention to details.
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Capable of following directions.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
• Comfortable working in environments with noise, heat, or dust.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance on CNC tools, spinning lathes, ovens, overhead cranes and related equipment.
• Read diagrams and manuals to troubleshoot malfunctions.
• Assist outside contractors on repairs and facility projects.
• Ensure safe operation and follow lockout/tagout requirements.
• Maintain maintenance tickets and document actions.
• Travel between facilities may be required with mileage reimbursement.
• Support SQDC improvements and safety initiatives.
