Job summary

J.M. Huber Corporation in Quincy, IL is seeking a Packaging Utility Operator to help ensure shipments meet plant order requirements and are loaded per load securement policies. This is a second shift 2p-10p position and you will operate bulk bag systems, verify weights, and assist with instrumenting pallets.

You will follow FSMA guidelines, maintain clean work areas, and help with preventive maintenance. The role requires a High School Diploma or GED and forklift certification, with CDL

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Must be qualified to operate a forklift.
• CDL license preferred.
• Ability to read, comprehend and follow safety policy manuals, MSHA regulations, SOPs, SDS, and various production schedules/reports.

Responsibilities

• Operates and monitors bulk sack/bag systems; keeps weights in spec.
• Follows FSMA guidelines in daily production.
• Keeps palletizer supplied with pallets, dividers, and other supplies.
• Inspects trucks and loads per plant procedures; completes paperwork.
• Stencils product with lot numbers and labels; repalletizes as needed.
• Maintains clean, safe work area and assists with maintenance.
