Job summary

Winland Foods, Inc. seeks an Entry Packaging Team Member to support packaging operations at our Elk Grove Village facility. You will operate and maintain packaging equipment, ensure correct labeling and packaging, and contribute to product quality on the line.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED and at least 1 year of related work. 2nd shift hours are 5:00pm–3:30am, Monday–Friday with Saturday rotation; salary starts at $20.75/hr plus $0.25 shift differential, with union-provided

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 1 year of work experience, preferably in manufacturing or food production.
• Forklift certification preferred (required for Advanced Level); willingness to obtain certification.
• 18+ years of age.

Responsibilities

• Operate basic packaging machinery and perform routine checks.
• Inspect labeling, packaging, and product handling for quality.
• Enter inventory transactions and shipments in SAP.
• Follow GMP, HACCP, SQF, FSMA and safety policies.
• Assist teammates and participate in 5S and continuous improvement.
