Job summary

Winland Foods, Inc. is seeking an Entry Production Team Member for the 2nd shift (5:00pm–3:30am, Mon–Fri with rotating Saturdays) at the Elk Grove Village facility. You will operate packaging lines, monitor quality, and support continuous improvement while ensuring safety and proper documentation in SAP.

Requirements include a High School Diploma or GED and 1+ year manufacturing experience; forklift certification is preferred. Willingness to obtain certification is welcome.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 1 year of work experience, preferably in manufacturing or food production.
• Forklift certification preferred; willingness to obtain if not held.
• Ability to operate, troubleshoot, and perform minor repairs on production line equipment.

Responsibilities

• Operate basic packaging machinery and equipment.
• Complete changeovers and address issues quickly to keep lines flowing.
• Follow SAP/IPQ/MII/Weaver workflows to record operations and inventory.
• Inspect products for correct labeling and packaging.
• Follow GMP, HACCP, SQF, FSMA, and sanitation policies.
• Assist team members and participate in continuous improvement efforts.
