Job summary

Job Juncture in McDonough, GA seeks a Packaging Production Supervisor on 2nd shift to lead production teams and ensure safety, quality, and efficiency. The role emphasizes Lean manufacturing principles, proactive people management, and strong communication with maintenance and support departments.

The ideal candidate has prior experience in food, beverage, or pharmaceutical manufacturing, plus a Bachelor's degree preferred.

Qualifications

• Must have prior experience in food, beverage or pharmaceutical manufacturing.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Strong lean manufacturing background is desired.
• Experience leading production teams and ensuring safety and quality.

Responsibilities

• Provide all aspects of Team leadership to Production employees, including staffing and morale.
• Organize employee training to ensure qualifications for production operations and GMP/SOP safety.
• Resolve conflicts and manage disciplinary actions as required.
• Coordinate with Maintenance to keep equipment reliable and operational.
• Maintain targeted production efficiency and contribute to plant efficiency.
• Solidify open communication with employees and support departments.
• Coach the production team to meet objectives and deliver results.
• Conduct regular meetings with Team Leaders to review progress and actions.
• Analyze production data to identify adverse trends and implement corrective actions.
