Packaging Corporation of America (PCA) is hiring for a crew member role in the manufacturing area. You will assist with machine setup, monitor box quality, and help stack finished boxes for palletizing.

The position requires following detailed instructions and working with the team to maximize efficiency. Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or GED, can lift up to 45 pounds, and are willing to work overtime on short notice in a manufacturing setting with varying temperatures and machinery

Formación

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Able to lift up to 45 pounds and work overtime on short notice.
• Experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred.
• Experience with folding/gluing machinery is beneficial.

Responsabilidades

• Assist with machine setup and operate equipment per setup techniques.
• Monitor box quality and report issues to operator/crewmembers.
• Ensure proper stacking of finished boxes for palletizing.
• Follow factory cards and operator instructions.
• Support with maintaining production schedules and equipment maintenance.
• Complete production and safety reports accurately and timely.
