Packaging Corporation of America (PCA) is a Fortune 500 company focused on corrugated packaging and white paper solutions. The role involves assisting with machine setup, monitoring box quality, and ensuring proper stacking for unitizing or palletizing, while following safety and scheduling guidelines.

You will support operators and help train crew members in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Starting pay ranges from $26.15 to $26.43 per hour with annual bonus based on plant performance.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Able to lift up to 45 pounds and work overtime on short notice.
• Experience in manufacturing or packaging is preferred.

Responsabilités

• Assist with machine set-up and monitor box quality, communicating issues to the operator.
• Ensure finished boxes are properly stacked for unitizing or palletizing.
• Assist training of helpers and maintain accurate reports (production data, machine status, safety, quality).
• Adhere to production schedules and safety policies; communicate scheduling issues to supervision.
