Job summary

Ken's Foods is seeking an experienced Packaging Supervisor in the Las Vegas area to lead the Packaging department's daily operations.

You will oversee training, interviewing, hiring, and evaluating staff while ensuring compliance with SQF certification, GMPs, and safety standards across the plant.

This role emphasizes quality, process discipline, and continuous improvement as you guide teams from kitchen stages through packaging to the warehouse.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Lead training, guidance, and enforcement of compliance to SQF certification
• Maintain safety, policies, rules and regulations as well as Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP's)
• Manage the flow of product from the kitchen through the packaging lines to the Warehouse
• Maintain the highest quality standards while controlling manpower
• Responsible for interviewing, hiring, and training employees
• Responsible for planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performances; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems
• Ensures compliance with corporate standards and systems to monitor food safety, food safety culture, quality and facility cleanliness
• Commitment to safety begins with Managers and frontline supervisors are accountable for creating and maintaining a culture of Safety and assuring a safe work environment
• Other duties as required
