Job summary

AMETEK, Inc. is seeking a Warehouse Packing and Shipping associate in Indiana to pack products per customer requirements and prepare all packaging materials for shipment.

The role ensures accurate documentation, inventory transactions, and timely pick-ups with major carriers. Responsibilities include following packaging instructions, preventing damage during transport, and maintaining a clean, safe work area.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Prior packaging/shipping experience preferred.
• Computer experience and Visual Manufacturing software knowledge preferred.

Responsibilities

• Pack product per customer requirements.
• Gather and prepare all packaging materials needed to ship the product.
• Follow all packaging instructions for labels, inserts, and tags.
• Verify that all product is packaged to prevent damage during transport.
• Complete shipping documentation accurately (shippers, certifications, labels, inserts, lot numbers).
• Handle finished goods inventory transactions (receipts and issues).
• Package components and finished goods for inventory and stock control.
• Manage pickup arrangements with outside carriers (UPS, FedEx, DHL, DBP).
• Ensure documentation is correct and up-to-date.
• Follow ISO policies and maintain safe work practices.
• Maintain clean work area.
