Job summary

Dessert Holdings is seeking an Oven Operator for our Aurora, Colorado plant to run ovens and ensure production of safe, high-quality desserts. You will follow SQF, HACCP, and GMP guidelines while supporting continuous improvement across the line.

The role requires 6 months to 1 year in food manufacturing, a high school diploma or GED, and basic math skills with flexibility for shift changes. Compensation is $17.60 per hour with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 6 months to 1 year of experience in a food manufacturing setting.
• High school diploma or GED, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Ability to perform basic arithmetic in all units of measure.
• Flexibility to work various hours and shifts.

Responsibilities

• Operate ovens and adjust flames, injectors, and speed to meet quality standards.
• Maintain cleanliness and follow GMPs and safety procedures.
• Notify supervisor of quality or production issues affecting efficiency.
• Troubleshoot equipment and report any machine failures immediately.
• Maintain waste to 5% or less and input SPC data.
