Job summary

Ellison Bakery in Fort Wayne, IN seeks an Oven Operator for 2nd shift from 3:30 pm to 12:00 am, with possible weekend work. You will form, bake, and cool dough to meet safety and customer specs while following HACCP controls and daily production schedules.

Responsibilities include maintaining equipment and records, ensuring proper recipes and settings, and assisting other production areas as needed. High school diploma or GED required; prior manufacturing/food handling experience beneficial.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or GED.
• Experience in manufacturing or food handling is preferred.
• Ability to read and follow work instructions accurately.

Responsibilities

• Execute the daily production schedule and process orders in sequence.
• Ensure product is baked using correct recipes and settings.
• Perform HACCP CCP monitoring checks.
• Maintain clean and safe utensils, equipment and work areas.
• Keep accurate batch records and processing parameters.
• Monitor automated equipment to verify proper operation.
