Job summary

Ellison Bakery LLC in Fort Wayne, IN is seeking a Post Bake Operator to support ongoing production of industrial baking machinery and packaging. You will wrap/bag cookies, seal out products, and follow the daily production schedule with attention to safety and quality standards.

The role requires a high school diploma, ability to read data on screens, and strong mechanical aptitude. Some weekend work may be required; on-site environment with company uniforms and safety gear provided.

Qualifications

• Must understand and follow direction and pass all Food Safety and Safety courses in the English language (Required).
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent (Required).
• The ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide numbers with decimals.
• Ability to read computer screens and enter data.
• Read and follow work instructions.
• Communicate effectively with co-workers.
• Work independently with self-management.
• Mechanically inclined.

Responsibilities

• Attend and be on time for all pre-shift production meetings.
• Participate in food safety and safety programs.
• Wrap/bag cookies and seal out, and ensure proper labeling.
• Execute the daily production schedule and process orders.
• Maintain clean and safe work areas and ensure correct packaging materials.
