Job summary

Brady Corporation is seeking an Order Management Lead to support high-volume warehouse operations on a 2nd shift. You will oversee order processing, staging, and auditing, while directing dock activities and ensuring timely dispatch. Strong leadership and process-improvement background are essential for success.

The role requires extensive experience in distribution supervision, warehouse systems, and cross-functional collaboration to meet service benchmarks and international order requirements.

Qualifications

• High school Diploma/GED required
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, supply chain, logistics or related field
• 5+ years of high-volume distribution supervision experience
• Experience with warehouse picking technologies
• Experience with warehouse control or management software
• Experience with barcode/scanning tech to improve picking/packaging
• Proven track record of disciplined processes and improvement
• Strong supervisory and project management skills
• Flexible schedule for overtime, nights, weekends
• Ability to lift 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for long shifts
• 8+ years shipping and receiving (desired)
• Knowledge of manufacturing processes and inventory management (desired)
• Experience performing quality checks and data recording (desired)

Responsibilities

• Queue management: ensure orders are printed, batched, and processed overnight and throughout the day
• Order prep: coordinate with shipping for ready-to-pick orders
• Dock coordination: lead daily dock workflows including forklift operators
• Inventory investigation: resolve discrepancies, missing pallets, late orders
• International compliance: stage and fulfill international orders
• Performance tracking: monitor on-time delivery and report delays
• Cross-training: delegate authority when Warehouse Manager is out
