Job summary

BradyPLUS is seeking a Warehouse Supervisor to oversee daily warehouse operations, directing staff, and ensuring accurate product delivery to customers. The role emphasizes safety, efficiency, and compliance with company policies and legal requirements.

The candidate will manage inventory, coordinate shipping/receiving, and assist the Warehouse Manager in planning and scheduling. A strong background in warehousing, leadership, and data accuracy is essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in warehousing planning, scheduling, inventory control, and traffic management preferred.
• Experience as supervisor or manager, preferred.
• Strong computer skills to operate warehouse management systems (WMS) and data entry tasks.
• Strong math skills to manage inventory counts and measurements.
• Strong communications skills, problem-solving abilities and leadership qualities.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, meet deadlines and work overtime as needed.
• Ability to lift, carry and move up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Assists Warehouse Manager.
• Works safely and follows safety rules.
• Orders, plans, schedules and monitors facility material and equipment requirements.
• Maintains documentation, correct procedures, and follows guidelines.
• Manages warehouse inventory per policy and instructions.
• Conducts all shipping and receiving activities.
• Arranges transportation with carriers per SwanLeap.
• Routes and schedules company drivers for Sigma assets.
• Maintains compliance with company programs and policies.
• Carries out supervisory responsibilities per organization policies and laws.
• Coordinates all job assignments and ensures safety compliance.
• Trains and develops Sigma operations personnel at the location.
• Maintains confidentiality of proprietary information.
• Directs warehouse staff to ensure efficient day-to-day operations in absence of Warehouse Manager.
• Checks orders prior to shipment.
• Performs additional duties as assigned.
