Job summary

Our client, a medical device manufacturer, is seeking an Operator I - 2nd Shift to join their team. The role involves producing high-quality medical devices within a manufacturing cell, including assembly, repair, and test operations on pacemakers, ICDs, and related components.

You will follow detailed procedures under close supervision and ensure accurate documentation while prioritizing safety and continuous improvement. The position pays $28 per hour with a schedule of 2:30pm – 11:00pm.

Qualifications

• Ability to read, comprehend, and follow written procedures.
• Maintain accurate records to support traceability and quality documentation.
• Demonstrated understanding of Lean Manufacturing principles.
• Ability to use electronic data collection systems.
• Ability to prioritize work and manage small components.

Responsibilities

• Produce high-quality medical devices within a manufacturing cell by performing assembly, repair, and test operations on pacemakers, ICDs, leads, and related medical device assemblies.
• Work under close supervision while completing routine assignments using specified procedures and under ongoing review.
• Ensure relevant job documentation for cell operations is accurate, complete, and up to date.
• Communicate clearly with manufacturing management and internal/external customers during tours.
• Follow safety guidelines at all times and participate in continuous improvement/quality initiatives.
