Job summary

Hyster-Yale Materials Handling, Inc. seeks an Operations Supervisor for the Avon, Indiana facility. The role oversees hourly associates and distribution activities across picking, packing, receiving, and shipping on a 2nd shift onsite basis.

You will provide shift leadership, coordinate cross‑functional processes, and partner with EHS and Maintenance to resolve issues while enforcing safety rules and attendance policies. Strong communicator needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Management, Engineering, Technology, Supervision, or related field; or equivalent experience.
• 1–2 years supervisory experience preferred; or 4–6 years of warehouse operations experience in lieu of a degree.

Responsibilities

• Oversee hourly associates and distribution operations across all functions (picking, put-away, packing, receiving, shipping).
• Provide shift oversight to meet daily requirements with efficiency and quality.
• Coordinate multiple processes across functions using a systematic approach.
• Serve as shift focal point for routine communication and disciplinary actions.
