Job summary

Hyster-Yale Materials Handling, Inc. Avon, IN is seeking a Materials Handling Associate for the 2nd shift (3 PM–11:30 PM EST). You will work with a team focused on accuracy, safety, and on-time order fulfillment, operating material handling equipment with a valid forklift license.

You will contribute to 5S standards, maintain inventory in control systems, and support multiple warehouse areas as needed. Strong teamwork, communication, and a safety-first mindset are essential.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.
• Safety-conscious with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Deliver results and provide an optimal customer experience.
• Maintain quality, safety, and 5S standards in the warehouse.
• Flexibly support shifting production needs and other warehouse areas.
• Safely operate forklifts and related equipment; manage batteries and propane as needed.
• Receive inventory, manage stock in control systems, and organize locations.
• Identify, pick, verify, package, label, and load outbound products; assemble kits with accuracy.
• Meet productivity and accuracy targets through problem solving and collaboration.
