Job summary

Hyster-Yale Materials Handling, Inc. is seeking an Operations Supervisor for the 2nd shift at its Avon, Indiana facility. You will oversee hourly associates across receiving, packing, stores and shipping, ensuring safety, productivity and quality on the shift.

The ideal candidate has 1–2 years of supervision or 4–6 years of warehouse experience, strong leadership and knowledge of warehouse systems. The role offers onsite work with competitive benefits and opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a related field.
1–2 years supervisory experience preferred; or 4–6 years warehouse ops experience.
Strong supervision and communication skills.
Experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
Ability to manage multiple priorities and drive results.

Responsibilities

Oversee and lead hourly associates in picking, put-away, packaging, receiving and shipping.
Plan resources to meet daily requirements with efficiency and quality.
Coordinate multiple processes across functional areas on shift.
Serve as shift focal point; communicate and administer disciplinary actions.
Partner with EHS and Maintenance to resolve issues promptly.
Maintain attendance records and enforce work rules.
