Job summary

Capstone Logistics, LLC is seeking an Operations Supervisor for the 2nd shift (3:30pm until finished, 5 days a week) in Disputana, VA. The role offers a competitive salary of $60,000+ per year, bonus potential, and benefits after 30 days.

You will lead day-to-day site activities, ensure safety and productivity, train new hires, and grow toward running your own site as Capstone expands. Ideal candidates have 2+ years of supervisory experience in warehousing or distribution, strong customer

Qualifications

• 2 years of supervisory / leadership experience in an industrial setting.
• Proven high levels of customer service to internal and external customers.
• Ability to train, coach, and mentor warehouse associates.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal).
• Strong organization and prioritizing skills.
• Ability to simultaneously perform multiple tasks.
• Ability to solve problems and make effective decisions in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to manage budgets; read and interpret P&L statements; prepare related reports.
• Intermediate PC skills with knowledge of Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Negotiate rates with common carrier representatives.
• Run site with safety and efficiency as priorities.
• Write and balance daily bank deposits; create daily work logs and send to corporate.
• Audit daily labor and billing reports.
• Ensure customer needs are met daily.
• Document and resolve customer service or associate issues daily.
• Ensure associates follow Capstone policies and work rules including safety rules.
• Hold weekly safety meetings and ensure participation.
• Assist in managing Site and Departmental budget.
• Schedule associate shifts based on customer requirements.
• Interview, hire, and train new associates.
• Oversee data entry for all services; complete daily closeout per procedures.
