Job summary

Rhoads Industries is seeking an Operations Supervisor for the 2nd shift to lead daily manufacturing activities, manage a crew, and drive safety and quality across departments. The role requires flexibility for nights, weekends, and overtime depending on business needs.

Qualifications

• High School/GED preferred; technical training or apprenticeship encouraged.
• 1+ years in a group leader/foreman-type role.
• Supervisory experience in shipyard/construction environments preferred.
• Willingness to work flexible hours including nights and weekends.
• Within 90 days, complete supervisor training and skills tests.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations to ensure efficient, safe, and compliant production.
• Enforce safety protocols and maintain a safe work environment.
• Lead staffing, scheduling, training, and performance reviews.
• Identify and implement process improvements to boost productivity.
• Prepare reports on operations, safety, and staffing levels.
• Address customer complaints related to operations and service quality.
• Ensure compliance with laws, regulations, and industry standards.
