Qualifications

• Must possess a current NH RN or LPN license.
• Long-term care experience required.
• Management experience required.
• Professional interaction with physicians, residents, family members, employees, and the community.

Responsibilities

• Perform all assigned tasks in accordance with established policies and standards of care.
• Receive and provide report from/to licensed nurses and LNAs/LMNAs at shift start and end.
• Conduct clinical rounds on the assigned unit during the shift.
• Recognize emergencies, assess needs, implement interventions, and notify nursing supervisor.
• Perform controlled substance counts at shift start and end.
• Complete and sign Narcotic Book; report discrepancies.
• Maintain confidentiality of resident-related care information.
• Supervise Licensed Practical Nurses, Licensed Nursing Assistants and/or Licensed Medication Nursing Assistants.
