Job summary

SOUTHERN CHAMPION TRAY LLC in Chattanooga, TN is seeking a Multicraft Maintenance Technician for the 2nd shift. You will maintain and repair production equipment across mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems to keep operations running safely and efficiently.

You will diagnose issues, follow safety standards, and document maintenance activities. The role requires an AA degree or equivalent, ability to read schematics, and Forklift certification.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent from two-year college or technical school, or one year related manufacturing experience.
• Must read, write and understand English; follow safety instructions and procedures.
• Must become a Certified Fork Lift operator and carry certification.
• Physical ability to lift 25–50 pounds and work 8 hours with breaks.

Responsibilities

• Perform installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of production and facility equipment.
• Diagnose equipment failures using schematics, manuals, and operator input.
• Install and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic components.
• Troubleshoot PLC-controlled and automated equipment with diagnostics and replacement.
• Maintain safety policies and documentation; support continuous improvement.
