Integrated Power Services (IPS) in Birmingham, AL is seeking a Utility Operator on the 2nd shift to support in-shop motor repairs. This hands-on role involves cleaning, disassembly, reassembly, and painting motor components, ensuring quality through each step.

Qualifications

• Experience handling motor components during cleaning and assembly.
• Ability to follow safety procedures and training.
• Will work overtime and weekends as required.

Responsibilities

• Operate cleaning equipment including steam cleaners, parts washers, and sandblasters.
• Clean internal and external motor parts such as frames, cores, and gears.
• Paint repaired motors before shipping to customers.
• Participate in daily operations discussions regarding customer products.
• Maintain safety practices and wear PPE at all times.
