Job summary
Spring Valley, a Jackson, WI based manufacturer of fertilizers and ice melter products, is seeking Production Associates with blending/batch mixer experience. The role supports safety, efficiency, and accurate packaging in a fast-paced plant environment.
You will operate forklifts, assist with palletizing and loading, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives while adhering to established safety programs. Competitive pay and benefits apply after onboarding.
Qualifications
- Adhere to safety programs and procedures.
- Maintain outstanding attendance since the paycheck depends on you.
- Communicate clearly and stay organized in a fast-paced production setting.
- Experience and comfort operating a forklift, stacking pallets 2–3 high is a plus.
- Able to follow written and verbal instructions.
- Capable of working 2nd shift (2:15pm–12:45am, Mon–Thu).
- Reliable transportation and ability to lift 50 lbs.
Responsibilities
- Mixing/blending material for fertilizer and ice melter.
- Stacking 50lb bags on pallets and wrapping pallets for shipping.
- Run and monitor machines to ensure safety and efficiency.
- Operate a forklift to move pallets between buildings.
- Operate a front end loader to transport bulk materials.
- General cleanup of work areas.
- Assist with miscellaneous projects (inventory, grounds keeping).
