Job summary

H3 Manufacturing is seeking a skilled 1G/2G/3G MIG & TIG Welder to join our Fisher, IL team on 2nd shift. You will weld and fabricate parts per blueprints, pass required weld tests, and work with diverse metals including steel, stainless, and aluminum.

Candidates should have a high school diploma or GED and welding schooling is preferred. ITAR compliance applies; sponsorship is not available.

Qualifications

• Must pass a 1G/2G/3G weld test (Required)
• Performs MIG/TIG/STICK/FLUX welding and repairs per blueprint
• Uses tape measures, rulers, calipers, and micrometers to ensure quality
• Marks and measures dimensions for welding
• Verifies finished work against blueprint specifications
• Operates and adjusts welding equipment to maintain quality
• Maintains welding tools and machines in good condition
• Collaborates with team to meet production goals
• Records production data accurately and timely
• Participates in continuous improvement of welding processes

Responsibilities

• Weld and fabricate parts per blueprint specifications using MIG/TIG/STICK/FLUX
• Pass 1G/2G/3G weld tests
• Join and repair metal using appropriate welding techniques
• Use calipers and micrometers to verify dimensions
• Maintain welding equipment in good working condition
• Collaborate with team to achieve production goals
