Job summary

Reworld Waste is seeking a 2nd shift Shift Supervisor to oversee safe, efficient operations at our Metals Plant in Fairless Hills, PA. You will lead frontline personnel and ensure production, safety, and environmental standards are met on the 2nd shift (2-10:30PM).

Knowledge of plant equipment and processes, strong safety focus, and the ability to make quick decisions are essential for success in this role. Rotating shifts and occasional weekend work are required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Chemical, or related field preferred, or equivalent industrial experience.
• Minimum 1+ year of leadership experience (Supervisor or Lead) in a metals or industrial operations environment.
• Working knowledge of plant equipment, processes, and operating procedures.
• Strong commitment to safety and regulatory requirements.
• Ability to make sound decisions in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate plant operations during assigned shift to ensure safe, efficient, and reliable performance.
• Lead, coach, and develop operations personnel; monitor performance and reinforce safety and operating standards.
• Maintain accurate operating logs and production records; communicate key updates to Operations leadership.
• Coordinate with maintenance, security, and other teams to support continuous plant operations.
• Initiate and support work requests for equipment repair and preventive maintenance.
• Ensure compliance with all company policies and regulatory requirements, with strong emphasis on safety and environmental standards.
• Respond to abnormal operating conditions and initiate emergency procedures as needed to protect personnel, facility, and community.
• Maintain clear and timely communication across shifts, leadership, and team members.
• Perform additional duties as assigned
