Job summary

Reworld Metals in Fairless Hills, PA seeks a mechanically inclined Process Technician to monitor, operate, and support field equipment across plant systems under the direction of the Shift Supervisor. You will help ensure reliable operations by checking performance, reporting issues, and supporting material handling.

Requirements include a high school diploma (associate degree preferred), 3+ years of industrial/military experience, the ability to read manuals, and to follow SOPs.

Qualifications

• Basic knowledge of safety practices, SOPs, plant equipment, and plant systems.
• Ability to read, understand, and follow operating manuals, procedures, and related documentation.
• Accurate hand-eye coordination to operate mobile equipment and open/close valves safely.

Responsibilities

• Check and document proper operation of plant machinery and report concerns.
• Inspect and adjust equipment including temperatures, pressures, levels, conveyors, and leaks.
• Maintain material handling systems for safe, efficient operations.
• Take immediate action when safety hazards are identified and report to supervisor.
• Follow and maintain SOPs and safety procedures.
• Assist with sampling incoming material for yield and report findings.
• Perform housekeeping and support shift transitions.
• Assist other plant personnel as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
