Job summary

Ideal Tridon Smyrna, TN is seeking a Progressive Metal Stamping Set Up Operator to set up and run stamping presses, roll mills, and related equipment to support PSR requests and production. The role requires a high school diploma and 1 year of related experience, with strong mechanical aptitude and the ability to lift 80 pounds.

Work is on 2nd shift, 3:00pm–11:00pm, with overtime as needed. The position offers an hourly rate of $22.75 plus a $1 shift differential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent education and experience.
• Minimum 1 year of related machine set-up and operation experience.

Responsibilities

• Set up, adjust, and operate metal stamping presses according to schedules and PSR requirements.
• Load materials and ensure proper alignment and feeding for stamping.
• Monitor press operations to maintain smooth production flow.
• Perform routine maintenance and replace worn parts.
• Troubleshoot malfunctions and minimize downtime.
• Maintain production records of output, downtime, and quality results.
• Follow safety, quality, and environmental standards.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
