Job summary

Atkore International in Cartersville, GA seeks a Fabrication Machine Operator for the 2nd shift. You will start up, operate and monitor multiple machines to ensure high-quality production and minimal downtime in a fast-paced environment.

Ideal candidates have a High School Diploma or GED, can stand 10 hours, are willing to work overtime, and can read blueprints or schematics. Safety, teamwork and integrity are valued at Atkore.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Able to stand for 10 hours in a non-climate-controlled manufacturing environment.
• Experience as a Machine Operator.
• Willing to work overtime and shift differential.
• Able to read blueprints, schematics and manuals.

Responsibilities

• Actively participate in Atkore's safety program.
• Cross train in different areas of the shop as required.
• Ensure all processes use safety controls and PPE.
• Operate and monitor multiple machines to ensure quality production and minimal downtime.
• Communicate with team members to maintain continuous production.
