Job summary

Merrimack Manufacturing is seeking a reliable 2nd Shift Manufacturing Technician to assemble medical devices with meticulous attention to detail. The role covers assembly, testing and documentation of mechanical and electrical components in a clean-room environment.

The candidate will work Monday to Friday, 3:00 pm–12:15 am (9/80 schedule with every other Friday off), using various tools and equipment while ensuring compliance with GMP, ISO, QSR and FDA guidelines.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years hands-on experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience with assembly, testing and the documentation of mechanical and electrical devices.
• Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
• Willingness to undertake varied tasks and adapt to dynamic environments.
• Medical device manufacturing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assemble plastic and metal components into medical devices per procedures.
• Utilize small hand tools, presses, fixtures, and measurement equipment to assemble and test.
• Record results using BOMs, work orders, check sheets, and assembly drawings.
• Conduct routine startup/end-of-day equipment inspections and verifications.
• Maintain clean room integrity and safety practices; participate in continuous improvement.
