Job summary

Merrimack Manufacturing is seeking a reliable 2nd Shift Manufacturing Technician to assemble medical devices with attention to detail in a structured environment. The role requires self-sufficiency in assembly, testing and documentation of mechanical and electrical assemblies.

Responsibilities include assembling components, using hand tools and test fixtures, documenting results, and participating in safety and continuous improvement programs.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years hands-on experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience with assembly, testing and the documentation of mechanical and electrical devices.
• Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Assemble plastic and metal components into medical devices per approved procedures.
• Use small hand tools, manual presses, fixtures, calibrated instruments and test fixtures.
• Record results using BOMs, work orders, check sheets and assembly drawings.
• Maintain clean room–like practices and follow safety guidelines.
• Participate in continuous improvement and quality/Regulatory Affairs compliance.
