Job summary

Hikma Pharmaceuticals USA Inc. is seeking a Mechanical Technician for the 2nd shift (Tuesday–Saturday) in Cherry Hill, New Jersey. You will monitor and maintain production equipment, perform preventive and corrective maintenance, and work closely with Operations and Engineering to meet production KPIs.

The role requires strong mechanical aptitude, blueprints comprehension, and meticulous documentation in line with SOPs and cGMP. Overtime and training on new equipment are expected.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum five (5) years maintenance experience on high-speed equipment.
• Experience in preventive and corrective maintenance and spare parts systems.
• Ability to read blueprints, specifications and manuals; measure parts.
• Strong mechanical ability and problem-solving with minimal supervision.
• Ability to read, interpret, and document SOPs/Job Aids.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoots and repairs high-speed filling and packaging equipment.
• Maintains equipment maintenance logs per SOP and cGMP.
• Completes corrective and preventative work orders.
• Performs set-ups or changeovers for production needs.
• Collaborates with Maintenance, Operations & Engineering teams to meet KPIs.
• Willing to work overtime and weekends.
