Job summary

Hikma Pharmaceuticals in Cherry Hill, NJ seeks an Electronic Instrumentation Technician (3rd shift) to maintain and troubleshoot electrical, instrumentation, and control systems on high-speed filling and packaging lines. The role involves preventative maintenance, reporting, and collaboration with Operations and Engineering to meet production goals.

The candidate should have 5+ years of maintenance experience, instrumentation knowledge, and the ability to read electrical prints and P&IDs.

Qualifications

High school diploma and formal training in electrical/instrumentation trade or tech school.
Minimum of five years maintaining and troubleshooting high-speed production equipment.
Strong understanding of instrumentation and controls.
Ability to read electrical prints and P&IDs.
Ability to communicate with manufacturers worldwide for support.
Vision systems knowledge is a plus.
Proficient with test equipment (oscilloscopes, meters, calibration tools) and PLC/HMI.
Experience in CM and PM processes and spare-part management.

Responsibilities

Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair electrical, instrumentation, and control systems on sterile filling and packaging lines.
Perform preventative maintenance on assigned equipment.
Document maintenance logs per SOP and cGMP.
Assist in set-ups or changeovers per production schedule.
Provide technical support to Operations and Engineering teams.
Ensure gowning qualification and status when required.
