Job summary

Hikma Pharmaceuticals USA Inc. is seeking an Electronic Instrumentation Technician for the Sunday–Thursday night shift in Cherry Hill, NJ.

You will maintain electrical, instrumentation and control systems on sterile filling and packaging lines, troubleshoot high‑speed production equipment, and support autoclaves and sterilization systems in a cGMP environment. The role involves setting up/changeovers, documenting maintenance activities, and collaborating with Operations and Engineering to meet

Qualifications

• High School education and 2-3 year electrical/instrumentation trade or technical school certificate.
• 5+ years maintenance experience on high-speed equipment, instrumentation and troubleshooting processes.
• Understanding of instrumentation and controls.
• Ability to read electrical prints and P&IDs.
• Ability to communicate with manufacturers worldwide for support.
• Knowledge of vision systems is a plus.
• Thorough knowledge troubleshooting equipment including oscilloscopes, volt/amp meters, frequency standards, calibration equipment and PLC/HMI.
• Experience in equipment corrective and preventative maintenance and spare part systems.

Responsibilities

• Regular and predictable onsite attendance and punctuality.
• Maintains, troubleshoots, and repairs electrical, instrumentation and control issues on production equipment to minimize downtime.
• Repairs, adjusts and troubleshoots plant-wide control and instrumentation.
• Performs preventative maintenance on all assigned equipment.
• Maintains electronic equipment maintenance logs and documentation per SOP and cGMP.
• Maintains documentation of in-house instrumentation including PMs.
• Provides technical support to other plant departments.
• Uses electronics, instruments and controls to perform system analysis.
• Maintains electronic test and repair equipment in a high state of readiness.
• Must be able to work shifts including weekends and holidays.
• Assist in set-ups, changeovers and start-up adjustments.
• Performs other duties as directed by management.
• Must be able to be gowned qualified and maintain gowning status.
