Job summary

Hikma Pharmaceuticals USA Inc. is seeking a Mechanical Technician for 3rd shift in Bedford, Ohio. You will monitor and maintain production equipment, perform troubleshooting on high-speed filling and packaging lines, and ensure documents comply with SOP and cGMP.

The role requires hands-on mechanical ability, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to read blueprints and manuals. Overtime and gowning training may be required.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Five years maintenance experience on high-speed equipment.
• Experience with corrective and preventive maintenance and spare parts systems.
• Ability to read blueprints, specs and manuals.
• Must be able to read and write routine reports and correspondence.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoots and repairs high-speed filling and packaging equipment.
• Maintains maintenance logs and documentation per SOP and cGMP.
• Performs set-ups or changeovers for production schedule.
• Implements corrective and preventive work orders.
• Collaborates with Maintenance, Operations & Engineering to meet production goals.
• Willing to work overtime, extended shifts, and weekends.
• Trains to be gowning qualified and maintains gowning status.
• Works with OEMs and contractors for training on new equipment.
