Job summary

Mueller Water Products, Inc. is seeking a 2nd shift Mechanical Maintenance Technician for our new Decatur, IL foundry. You will install, repair and rebuild foundry machinery, read blueprints, and maintain hydraulic/pneumatic systems.

Applicants should have 4 years of verified maintenance experience or equivalent schooling, and be able to perform welding, plumbing and general facility upkeep with required overtime. Competitive salary and comprehensive benefits offered.

Qualifications

• 4 years verifiable maintenance experience and/or schooling equivalent.
• Read, interpret blueprints and hydraulic/pneumatic diagrams.
• Read, set up, and operate machine tools and weld/cut as required.
• Install, maintain hydraulic and pneumatic systems and perform boiler repairs.

Responsibilities

• Install, repair, and rebuild foundry machinery and equipment.
• Read blueprints and diagrams to guide maintenance work.
• Set up machine tools and fabricate repair parts as needed.
• Welding, hydraulic and pneumatic system maintenance and repairs.
• Perform plumbing and building/grounds maintenance; work overtime as required.
