Job summary

GreyStone Power Corporation is seeking a Mechanic for the 2nd shift to maintain and repair fleet vehicles and equipment to ensure safe operation. The role involves performing preventive maintenance, inspections, and repairs in a high-demand utility environment.

The incumbent will handle routine servicing, diagnostics, DOT inspections, and occasional road service, working a Monday–Thursday 2p–10:30p and Friday 9a–5:30p schedule.

Responsibilities

• Performs frequent and periodic inspections on light, medium, and heavy-duty vehicles and electric utility equipment as part of preventive maintenance.
• Identifies maintenance or repair needs and makes necessary repairs as directed.
• Performs preventative maintenance such as oil changes, lubrication, tire work, and brake repair on fleet vehicles and equipment.
• Conducts annual DOT inspections on medium and heavy-duty trucks and trailers, documenting results.
• Performs minor road service calls and repairs to electronic and hydraulic systems as directed.
