Job summary

GFL - Sewer Technologies Division is seeking a skilled mechanic to work in a fast-paced municipal fleet shop. You’ll diagnose and repair diesel engines, hydraulic systems, and complex mechanical issues to keep our community’s trucks humming.

Qualifications

• Experience working with diesel engines and heavy machinery.
• Ability to diagnose and fix complex mechanical issues.
• Proficiency with standard shop tools and diagnostic equipment.

• Operate and troubleshoot hydraulic lifters and compactors.

What You’ll Be Doing (The Fun Stuff)

• Mechanical Surgery: Deep-diving into the guts of our fleet to diagnose and fix the "unfixable."

• Tech Wizardry: Using state-of-the-art diagnostic tools to talk to the trucks' brains.
