Job summary

Butterball is seeking motivated individuals for production roles in our turkey processing facilities. The position involves performing manual and machine-assisted tasks to process meat while upholding strict safety, quality, and sanitation standards.

You will rotate through processing functions and support daily production goals. Qualified applicants typically hold a high school diploma or equivalent and are able to stand for long periods, lift up to 50 pounds, and work overtime as needed.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read and follow HACCP and FDA/OSHA requirements.
• Ability to perform repetitive tasks and stand for prolonged periods.
• Willingness to work extended hours, overtime, holidays and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Perform manual and machine-assisted tasks to process meat from turkeys.
• Ensure product safety and defend against contamination in the plant.
• Follow GMP and HACCP procedures for product safety.
• Support Food Safety initiatives in the facility.
• Monitor equipment operation and report malfunctions or safety concerns.
• Rotate through functions within the processing department as needed.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
