Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; entry level does not require prior production experience.
• Ability to read and understand HACCP, FDA and OSHA requirements as needed.
• Willingness to work extended hours, overtime, holidays and weekends in varying environments.

Responsibilities

• Perform manual, repetitive tasks to process meat products.
• Ensure product safety and defend product quality in the plant.
• Follow GMP and HACCP procedures related to product safety.
• Support Food Safety initiatives within the facility.
• Operate tools or equipment as needed; some tasks manual.
• Monitor equipment and report malfunctions or safety concerns.
• Rotate through processing department functions as required.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
