Job summary

RTX in East Hartford, CT is seeking a Materials Servicer B for 2nd shift to support material processing, receiving, storage, and distribution. This onsite role requires hands-on handling of rough stores, finished parts, tooling, and consumables, with inventory checks and record-keeping integral to daily tasks.

Qualified candidates will have a HS diploma and at least 2 years of relevant experience, and must be able to operate forklifts and related equipment.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or equivalent is required.
• 2+ years of material handling experience in a manufacturing setting.
• Ability to operate and maintain packing, labeling, and basic material-handling equipment.

Responsibilities

• Perform material processing tasks and manage inventories using computer systems.
• Receive, store, issue, and transport a variety of materials.
• Perform pick and pack, kitting, and shipping operations.
• Record transactions and complete documentation.
• Operate forklift or hoists and ensure loads are secure.
