Job summary

Zygo Corporation in Middlefield, CT seeks a Material Coordinator for 2nd shift to ensure accurate receipt, storage, issuance, and shipment of materials. You will work with production, procurement, quality, shipping, and warehouse teams to maintain inventory flow under ISO standards and NAV ERP processes.

You will perform cycle counts, issue materials, and support continuous improvement while safely operating forklifts and maintaining accurate records in NAV and related systems.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• 2+ years in stockroom, warehouse, inventory control, material handling, or shipping/receiving.
• Experience with ERP systems such as NAV or similar inventory systems.
• Ability to perform accurate inventory transactions and maintain records.
• Strong organization and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Pull production orders and issue raw materials to manufacturing work cells.
• Create and replenish production kits to support manufacturing operations.
• Perform inventory transactions, issues, receipts, transfers, and adjustments in the ERP system (NAV).
• Maintain inventory accuracy through regular cycle counts.
• Coordinate outgoing material shipments and complete shipping documentation.
• Support receiving by verifying material against PO and packing slips.
• Operate material handling equipment safely, including forklifts.
• Maintain clean, safe stockroom and work areas.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet production needs.
