Job summary

Applied Materials is seeking a Material Coordinator in Billerica, MA to support production by locating, auditing, and staging materials and maintaining accurate stock levels. You will perform cycle counts, pick orders per tracking systems, and help optimize material flow across the warehouse.

The role requires familiarity with ERP systems (SAP, M2M), basic MS Office, and a focus on safety and accuracy in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1–2 years in stockroom, warehouse, manufacturing, or materials environment preferred.
• Familiarity with ERP and inventory systems is expected.

Responsibilities

• Locate, audit, transfer, and stage materials or kits to support production.
• Perform cycle counts to verify inventory accuracy and identify discrepancies.
• Pick orders according to the kitting tracker.
• Organize, consolidate, and maintain stockroom locations to improve accuracy.
• Assist management in controlling excess inventory and relocation when needed.
• Prepare materials for delivery into cleanroom environments following procedures.
• Operate powered industrial equipment when certified.
• Follow safety, quality standards and processes.
• Train and assist other Material Coordinators as assigned.
• Perform other duties and special projects as assigned.
