Zygo, a business unit of AMETEK Inc., is seeking a Materials Coordinator I (2nd Shift) in Middlefield, CT. You will manage receipt, storage, movement, and shipment of materials to support manufacturing operations.

Responsibilities include issuing raw materials, creating production kits, performing ERP transactions in NAV, and maintaining inventory accuracy through regular cycle counts. This role requires coordinating with production, procurement, quality, shipping, and receiving teams to ensure

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 2+ years in stockroom, warehouse, or inventory control.
• Experience with NAV or similar ERP systems.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Able to read work instructions and shipping documents.

Responsabilités

• Pull production orders and issue raw materials to manufacturing work cells in support of production schedules.
• Create and replenish production kits to support manufacturing operations and improve workflow efficiency.
• Perform inventory transactions within the ERP system (NAV).
• Maintain inventory accuracy through cycle counts (daily/weekly/monthly).
• Process material returns, scrap transactions, subcontract work orders, and supplier returns.
• Coordinate outgoing material shipments and ensure shipping documentation is complete and accurate.
• Support receiving by verifying material against POs, packing slips, and system requirements.
• Transport and distribute materials throughout the facility with proper handling.
• Replenish stock locations from central inventory locations.
• Maintain records for inventory movements, shipments, receipts, and transactions.
• Operate material handling equipment, including forklifts, safely.
• Maintain clean, safe stockroom and work areas.
• Collaborate with internal customers to meet production needs and CI initiatives.
• Adhere to safety, ISO, and company policies.
