Job summary

Qualified Staffing in Michigan is seeking an Experienced Material Handler for a 2nd shift automotive parts manufacturing facility in the Lapeer area. This role involves loading/unloading shipments, distributing materials to work centers, operating and inspecting a forklift, and supporting production on a high-volume, precision shop floor.

Lapeer area high precision, high volume machining company is looking for an Experienced Material Handler to join their team. This is an automotive parts manufacturing facility. This is a 2nd Shift position, Monday through Saturday, 4:30PM- 3:00AM. Pay is based on experience. Candidates must submit an up-to-date resume to be considered. Candidate must have previous Material Handling and Forklift experience.

• Previous Material Handling and Forklift experience.
• Receives and unloads shipments
• Distribute Material to all work centers
• Operate forklift in a safe manner
• Daily Inspection of forklift
• Overseas and maintains machines, including but, not limited to puck master and the coolant tote
• Responsible for 5s of entire facility
• Maintaining inventory by identifying, labeling and delivery.
• General Support to production
• Other duties as assigned
