2nd Shift Material Handler – Urbana Ohio

Location: Urbana, USA

Additional information: Full-time, on-site, 3pm to 11pm, starting rate is $22.30

Responsibilities

You will provide a full range of material handling support to 2nd Shift at our Urbana, OH facility. Duties include but are not limited to delivering raw materials to production, packing and sorting materials, operating a variety of forklifts, utilizing safe operating procedures, and collaborating with team members throughout the facility.

• Deliver materials to specified departments.
• Monitor and maintain inventory of materials and supplies.
• Assist other departments as needed.
• Operate the paper compactor, bailers (plastic/paper), and core cutter.
• Other duties may be required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED (required).
• Ability to operate a variety of lifts, including forklift, clamp truck, stand‑up, and stretch wrap machinery, manual and electric hand jack, strapping equipment, bailers/compactor, and core cutter.
• Ability to use precision measuring equipment such as a ruler, tape measure, caliper, and micrometer.
• Physical requirements – lift and manipulate unwieldy parts weighing approximately 50 lbs.
• Ability to train others and willingness to cross‑train.
• Ability to multi‑task and work with little supervision in a team environment.
