Triple-S Steel Holdings, Inc. in Surprise, AZ is seeking a motivated Material Handler for 2nd shift to ensure safety, meet daily productivity and quality standards, and assist with routine and non-routine maintenance.

You will move steel indoors and outdoors, operate forklift and overhead crane, read work orders, and work with teams to keep loading, unloading, and inventory flowing smoothly while maintaining safety and accuracy. Previous experience is helpful; training is provided.

Qualifications

• Follow safe methods of work and report unsafe conditions.
• Move steel to/from storage and production areas using equipment.
• Lift up to 50 pounds and walk long distances daily without compromising safety.
• Interpret work orders and plan material handling tasks.
• Maintain equipment and collaborate across departments.

Responsibilities

• Safely move steel to and from storage/production areas and loading docks.
• Operate forklift and overhead crane as required.
• Read and interpret work orders to determine material needs.
• Maintain safety while meeting daily productivity targets.
• Assist with routine and non-routine maintenance tasks.
• Ensure accurate bundling and load configuration for routes.
