Triple-S Steel Holdings, Inc. is seeking a motivated Material Handler for the 2nd shift at our Fontana, CA site. The role involves safely moving steel, loading/unloading, and supporting maintenance tasks in a variable weather environment.

You will read work orders, follow safety standards, and meet daily productivity and quality goals. Starting pay ranges from $18.00 to $24.00 per hour DOE, with shift differential and comprehensive benefits.

Qualificações

• Read and interpret work orders or instructions to determine material or equipment needs.
• Meet or exceed minimum productivity levels as set by the company.
• Plan and organize work activities independently and in a team.
• Develop knowledge of product and inventory control techniques.
• Maintain inter-department communications on routing, safety, and customer relations.
• Demonstrate basic math skills.

Responsabilidades

• Follow safety methods and report unsafe conditions to supervisor.
• Safely move steel to/from storage, production areas, and loading docks using hand tools, forklift, or crane.
• Lift up to 50 pounds for up to 25 feet; handle loads safely throughout shifts.
• Apply proper bundling techniques and configure loads for routes.
• Maximize trailer load capacity while ensuring safety.
• Operate and maintain tools and equipment (tape measure, caliper, micrometer, forklift, crane).
• Report safety issues related to equipment promptly.
• Work indoors/outdoors in varying weather; stay aware of surroundings and moving objects.
