Job summary

State Steel Supply Co. is seeking a Warehouse Specialist for the second shift to load/unload steel and place it in warehouse locations using overhead cranes. You will help ensure accurate inventory and timely delivery to customers while adhering to safety policies.

The role requires a valid driver’s license, basic math and literacy, and basic computer skills. Expect a physically active environment with walking, standing, and occasional heavy lifting in a team setting.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license.
• 18+ years old.
• Basic math skills.
• Basic literacy for reading instructions and using hand tools.
• Basic computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload material (steel) from trucks and store it in service warehouse inventory locations using overhead cranes.
• Ensure every piece of steel is accounted for and in the right place.
• Follow all safety policies and safe work practices to maintain a culture of safety.
