Job summary

GXO Logistics, Inc. is seeking a Material Handler for 2nd shift (Monday - Friday, 3:00pm - 11:30pm). You will support operations by moving material and inventory, using hand trucks, conveyors, scanners, and other equipment, while adhering to safety rules and the 7S program.

Candidates should have at least 1 year of warehouse experience and be at least 18 years old. The role requires the ability to lift up to 50 lbs, read safety docs, and work flexibly, potentially overtime.

Qualifications

• 1 year of experience in a warehouse environment.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating instructions and procedural documents.
• Ability to do basic math calculations, with and without a calculator.
• The ability to work in a team and maintain a positive attitude.

Responsibilities

• Move material and inventory throughout the facility.
• Use hand trucks, conveyors or other material handling equipment.
• Pack, scan, kit or count products as needed.
• Verify orders, label products and use a handheld scanner.
• Adhere to the 7S program.
• Maintain a clean environment at all times.
• Work in a safe manner that protects you and your team members.
